Hello,

Even though your comment wasn't for what want2bdiscovered.com is trying to do, I approved it. Because some of the things you said were very inaccurate! And some of the things you said were very true!

First thing, Want2bdiscovered.com has been in business for 1 1/2 years and we don't even make enough money from advertising to pay the current bills. The contest winners receive the winning money straight out of my pocket, because I believe in my website and want to help artists get their music heard! I believe that if I can bring people to the site to give reviews, its possible that a music reviewer will discover a band they really like and they will purchase the unsigned or indie artists music. Plus it is a good way to help artists build their fanbase. THERE REALLY ARE SOME AMAZING ARTISTS ON THE SITE, THAT DESERVE 2 B DISCOVERED!

Saying that, the competition isn't a good way to go about it, ISN'T TRUE! It's supposed to be a FUN competition that people can enjoy music and give their reviews. And its not hard to win. Want2bdiscovered.com does not make 1 dollar off of this contest! Not 1!

You are right about, RIDICULOUS comments! I couldn't agree with you more. That's why I want people like you to give your reviews for the contest! Some one who actually cares. BUT if you didn't care about the contest and only cared about the music, YOU would be reviewing artists on my site trying to make it a better community. Its people like you I NEED REVIEWING!!!! Embracing art is a great statement that I agree with!

Thank you and I hope more people like you will review music on the site and help spread the word!

I am glad there are new innovative ways to find good music. I, too, don't think that the old system of big music studios and production companies rule the world of music. But this is way too pushed. In a way that we, music lovers, will compete so much that we will forget that we are actually trying to embrace art. The same thing appears on several web pages like Garageband, Surrge where music "lover" write *ridiculous* reviews that either make no sense or they criticize instead of reviewing. So instead of reviews that are worth something because they are made voluntarily, we kill music by trying to compete in order to make few bucks.
You make money from advertising, small share goes to artists, even smaller share to music "lovers". That ain't the right way.
But good luck to you anyways.
